Godmothers Grow: Creating Meaningful Rituals, With Eve Gaines
Discover how creating simple, intentional rituals can help you honor life’s transitions and move through change with greater clarity.
Transitions—both subtle and seismic—shape every life. But without a way to acknowledge them, these moments can leave us feeling untethered or uncertain about what comes next.
In this immersive workshop, Eve Gaines, the founder of Rituel, a land-based sanctuary for healing and renewal, will guide participants through the art of creating rituals that honor life’s threshold moments. Through a blend of teaching, reflection, and guided practice, participants will explore how rituals can support emotional integration, clarity, and intentional transformation.
Eve will introduce the core structure of rites of passage—including endings, the liminal space of change, and reintegration—and share how symbolic elements such as movement, objects, nature, and words can help mark these stages.
Participants will identify a transition in their own lives and begin designing a ritual they can carry forward beyond the workshop. The experience concludes with a guided group ritual focused on honoring what is complete and welcoming what is beginning.
This event will be hosted in our third-floor loft space, which is only accessible by stairs.
MORE ABOUT EVE GAINES
For more than two decades, Eve has translated this cross-cultural scholarship into lived ceremonial practice. Through intentionally designed rites of passage, immersive mentorship, and integrative healing experiences, she creates environments where change is given form, aesthetic coherence, and meaningful integration rather than being endured in isolation.
Her work bridges psycho-spiritual coaching, eco-psychology, embodied leadership, yoga therapy, somatic integration, and apprenticeship with respected teachers and elders across diverse traditions. Central to her practice is a devotion to beauty and meaning—the understanding that space, rhythm, land, and architecture are not neutral, but actively shape how transformation is experienced and integrated.
