Volunteering at LLELA: Help Where It’s Needed Most

DFW Young & SocialClubis a community for adults 18+ in Dallas–Fort Worth. Our average demographic is 21–40, but age isn’t what matters here — respect, kindness, and connection are.We host 100+ classes/events each month, from social experience, dance classes and game nights to hikes, food outings and creative workshops.Our mission is simple:Ensuring culture, connection and experience are accessible for everyone.

Join DFW Young &amp; Social in partnership with Friends of LLELA for a volunteer day, where we’ll be pitching in with whatever tasks are most needed to support their ongoing conservation efforts. Activities will vary depending on the weather and current priorities but may include helping in the nursery, tidying up trails, organizing materials, or other hands-on projects. Whatever the work, you’ll be making a direct impact on this vital nature preserve. <a href="https://seluqd.pushpress.com/landing/calendar" title="https://seluqd.pushpress.com/landing/calendar" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Head to Our Calendar to RSVP</a>What to Bring:<ul><li>Water (we’ll bring a case of water)</li><li>Bug spray &amp; Sunscreen (We’ll bring some, but not an unlimited amount)</li><li>Leather gloves (We have some but not an unlimited amount)</li><li>Comfortable outdoor shoes or boots</li><li>Hat</li><li>Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty</li><li>Hair ties if needed</li></ul>This is a great chance to meet others, support local ecosystems, and learn more about prairie conservation firsthand.
