Illinois Grape Growers and Vintners Alliance (IGGVA) is an agricultural non-profit organization dedicated to developing the viticulture and enology interests of Illinois through information exchange and cooperation among Illinois grape producers and vintners. Our public-facing events serve two important purposes: first raising awareness of the #IllinoisWine industry and the world-class wines we produce in the Midwest and secondly raising awareness of the unique grape varietals that grow well in Illinois.

The Great Galena Balloon Race is filling the skies, the town is alive with things to do, and right in the middle of it all, Illinois wine shows up at Depot Park to make a great weekend unforgettable. Illinois wineries bring their full lineups to Corkless Galena — reds, whites, rosés, bubbly, and more — and the people making those wines are right there at the tables with you. Ask questions, taste widely, find something you want to take home. Additional tasting tickets are available on-site if you if you really want to explore! Live music sets the pace throughout the day. Between pours, there's local art to browse and food vendors to keep you fueled. The park sits along the Galena River — open air, room to spread out, no reason to rush.
