The Color Feelings Studio: Summer Camp 2026
Where art meets emotional intelligence. Camp for ages 4–10, led by a licensed child psychologist. June 2026 · Liberty Station, San Diego.
Welcome to The Color Feelings Studio!
About this camp
The Color Feelings Studio is a week-long summer art camp where kids ages 4–10 explore emotions through color, creativity, and hands-on art-making. Each day of camp is anchored to a color and a feeling: brave red, joyful yellow, calm blue, curious orange, building toward a full emotional palette by Friday.
Led by Dr. Danessa Mayo, licensed clinical psychologist and visual artist, and founder of My Good Brain, a nonprofit dedicated to youth mental wellness through art and play.
Kids leave with a portfolio of original artwork, a deeper emotional vocabulary, and the confidence to say: I can express how I feel through art.
