Join Travis Peters in partnership with the Detroit Black Farmer Land Fund’s annual Juneteenth fundraiser kick-off at Oakland Avenue Urban Farm. Travis Peters runs Green Boots Urban Farm and has worked with the Detroit Black Farmer Land Fund to move potential land owners through the process of purchasing land. 

The mission of Greenthumbz Consulting Inc is to provide ‘Basic Training’ in sustainability, urban agriculture, and creative expression to Veterans and the Detroit community. As a Veteran-owned organization, we facilitate legacy-building workshops that integrate soil science, conservation practices, and climate initiatives combined with horticultural therapy and the arts. By blending environmental stewardship and creative outlets, we empower Veterans to process service-related experiences and build sustainable futures. We are dedicated to planting the seeds of today’s dreams to reap a harvest of community wellness and artistic success.
