Kanekoa Trio, Workshop Only, Pono Hawaiian Grill Santa Cruz June 7, 3 -4 pm

Kanekoa String Trio Workshop and Concert at the Pono Hawaiian Grill, 120 Union Street in Santa Cruz on Sunday June 7.

This is the link for the hour long Kanikapila Style ‘Ukulele Work only. The workshop is from 3:00 to 4:00pm. It is designed to be interactive, with all levels welcome. It is inspired by how the ‘ukulele is learned in Hawai’i – by ear, by heart and by playing together. Just how it is done in school, at home and on the playground in Hawai’i. It is, by design, a welcoming, fun and pressure free experience for beginners through advanced players.

After a break in between, a regular full length, two-hour concert will take place from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Separate tickets are needed for the workshop and the concert. Everybody is welcome to choose each event by itself or both. There are separate ticket links for the workshop and for the concert.
