Emerging Farmers Field Day

Emerging Farmers Field Day

14055 N Broken Horn RdBoise, ID
Thursday, April 30  •  9:15 AM - 2:30 PM
Overview

Visit 5 of the best small-scale, direct-market farms in the valley!

Taproots Farm Hub invites you to join us to visit five of the Dry Creek Valley's farm operations and hear directly from growers. Anyone who is excited about local agriculture is invited, and the content will be focused on emerging farmers.

We'll meet at Dry Creek Growers to kick of the farm tour where we'll hear from Whistlepig Farm and Black Fox Farms. We'll move to Fiddler's Green for a tour there & where we'll have lunch from City of Good(add this to your ticket when you sign-up!). In the afternoon we'll visit Sun-Dog Farm and Dry Creek Ranch Farm.

We will break for lunch 11:30am-12:30pm. Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on to enjoy lunch.

NOTE: Lunch is an add-on option when you check out--last day to order is April 23 by 10am.

We encourage carpooling as there is limited parking at each farm.

This event is free, but you may order a delicious locally-sourced lunch prepared by City of Good that we will deliver to the farm. This can be added to your ticket when you checkout.
