Join the Indiana Minority Health Coalition for its Annual Luncheon on April 16 at the JW Marriott Indianapolis. This special gathering brings together health care leaders, policymakers, advocates, and community partners committed to improving health outcomes and advancing access to care across Indiana.
The program will celebrate leaders who are making a lasting impact on community health. Honorees will be recognized through three distinguished awards: the Founders Award, named in honor of the late Honorable William “Bill” Crawford; the Advocate Award, recognizing the legacy of the late Amos Brown; and the Supporter Award, honoring the late William “Bill” Mays. Awardees include Dr. Virginia A. Caine, the Honorable Greg Porter, and Indianapolis Recorder CEO Robert Shegog.
The luncheon will feature keynote remarks from Georges C. Benjamin, Executive Director of the American Public Health Association and one of the nation’s most influential voices in public health. Drawing on decades of leadership in medicine, public health, and policy, Dr. Benjamin will share insights on the challenges shaping our nation’s health and the opportunities for leaders and communities to work together to build healthier systems.
We hope to see you for an inspiring afternoon of recognition, insight, and collaboration as we continue the work of strengthening health and opportunity for communities across Indiana.
