<h3>Cultivating Self-love overview</h3> We all know that romantic love has well documented psycho-physiological benefits, but how about self-love?In this 3 part workshop series, we will explore how self-love can impact our physical and mental health and cultivate together a more loving interaction with ourselves, and everyone around us.<ul><li>Workshop 1: Self-Knowledge: Understanding me - 30.3.2026</li><li>Workshop 2: Self-Acceptance, embracing myself - 20.4.2026</li><li>Workshop 3: elf-Care and Empowerment: Growing your Agency - 27.4.2026</li></ul>NOTE! By registering for this workshop, you commit to attend all 3 workshops in the series. <h4>Workshop 1: Self-Knowledge: Understanding Me</h4>30.3.2026In this workshop we will explore self-knowledge through introspection of our own background, focused on understanding our own thoughts, feelings and abilities, and obtaining self-insight from recognizing our deeper needs, values, goals and identity. <h4>Workshop 2: Self-Acceptance, embracing myself </h4>20.4.2026In this workshop we will explore why self-acceptance is important for physical and mental health and how to cultivate this quality.We will practice techniques such as:•⁠ ⁠awareness and avoidance of self-rating,•⁠ ⁠recognizing over generalized thoughts like “People never like me” or “I always fail”•⁠ ⁠practicing positive talk and self-forgivenessMistakes aren’t signs that we’re failing — they’re gentle reminders that we’re growing. When we meet them with curiosity instead of criticism, we create space for real self‑love to take root. <h4>Workshop 3: Self-Care and Empowerment: Growing your Agency - </h4>27.4.2026In this final workshop, we will practice what we have learned!We will translate self-care into actions including eating well, resting, physical movement, addressing our needs, healthy boundaries, self-respect, healthy relationships, and seeking help.We will work on building habits rooted in affective self-regard and positive repetitive actions, promoting behaviours to enhance the physio-psychological wellbeing. <h3>Location</h3>The location is called 'Kansalais Toiminnankeskus' and is close to Ainoa shopping mall and Heikkintori in Tapiola. We will be using the 4th floor and it can be accessed via the stairs or elevator.See the image of the building below for refence.
