NYCxDESIGN proudly launches the 2026 Festival with our highly anticipated Opening Party set within the iconic HALO 28 in Downtown Manhattan.

Bringing together leaders and rising voices from across the global design community, this celebratory evening marks the official start of the Festival and sets the tone for a week of creativity, collaboration, and innovation. Guests will gather in one of New York City’s most striking contemporary spaces - where architecture, light, and atmosphere converge - to toast the power and possibility of design in shaping our world.

Guests will encounter captivating large-scale installations by kinetic sculptor BREAKFAST, whose mesmerizing, movement-driven works blur the line between art, technology, and spectacle. Complementing the visual experience, Pinch Food Design will present inventive, interactive culinary moments—elevating food into an experience of its own.

As the city’s design community comes together under one roof, the night promises to spark new ideas, forge meaningful connections, and celebrate the vibrant creative spirit that makes New York a global design capital.
