CFIN: Seedlings (Seasonal Cohorts)

Nature playgroup for kiddos 5 and under with a caregiver.

Seedlings is a nature-based early childhood playgroup for children ages 5 and under and a caregiver (parent/guardian, grandparent, childcare provider). Seedlings events are held at CEI's Freetown Farm (Columbia) OR Green Farmacy Garden (Fulton) locations.

We ask that older siblings are otherwise occupied so we can focus on the unique play and exploration needs of the very young; kiddos who are enrolled when they are 5 are able to complete a full yearlong cycle with us, even after their 6th birthday!

Beginning with our Spring 2026 season. Were you referred to Seedlings by a friend? Before buying your tickets, email: cfin@cei.earth the name of the person who referred you and we will respond with a promo code (not retroactive, apologies!). Seedlings families who referred a new family who signs up for a season (not a single event) will earn a 10% discount towards their next seasonal sign-up (aging out of Seedlings? You can use your discount for our Family Nature Club!)

Payment via Eventbrite is only part of your registration process; an email will be sent from cfin@cei.earth to the email you provide at checkout with a link to the registration form.

Cohort (multiple weeks) Members pay a reduced rate per event; prices are by family. We will open a few tickets for single events for families who would like to try out a Seedlings event before commiitting to a seasonal membership.

Spring Friday Cohort begins April 10 (7 Fridays; ticket options: full session or choose any 5 events to attend in the series; two Friday 'try it out' dates: April 10th and May 22nd)

Summer Sunday Cohort begins June 7 (7 Sundays; ticket options: individual events, 'Choose any 3', 'Choose any 5', full 7 Sunday session)

Autumn Sunday Cohort begins September 20 (7 Sundays)

Autumn Friday Cohort begins September 25 (7 Fridays)

**If someone referred you to Seedlings, make sure they passed along the promo code for your discount; good for full seasons or 'Choose Any 5' ticket options only.

To select a Cohort membership in Eventbrite:

Click the orange availability button, then select the cohort start date (eg. Sunday, March 1st) and the time; you will then see the whole cohort as an option to purchase.

Inidividual dates available for purchase:

Fridays: 03/06, 05/22

Sundays: 04/12; all summer Sundays (06/07, 06/14, 06/21, 06/28, 07/12, 07/19, 07/26)

If an event is cancelled, you will be offered at least one make up date.

To select a single Seedlings date in Eventbrite:

Click the orange availability button, then select the date (eg. Friday, April 10th) and the time (even though there is only one time option).

It is important to us that all families who wish to participate in Seedlings are able to do so, please reach out if you are interested in our programming, but feel financially restricted.
