Tampa Bay Training, LLC is a provider of training throughout the State of Florida.  Our company provides FDOT MOT (temporary traffic control), FDEP FSESCI (Stormwater inspection), CPR/AED/Basic First Aid, Bloodborne Pathigens, Drug/Alcohol Awareness, Reasonable Suspicion, Emergency Management, and Leadership.  We provide classes in-person throughout Florida or online (where applicable).

In-person FDOT Flagger training for Florida roadway, public works, utility and construction employees who direct traffic safely in work zones.

<h3>FDOT Flagger Training (Basic MOT) — IN PERSON</h3>Earn your FDOT Flagger qualification through an official instructor-led course from Tampa Bay Training.This 4-hour FDOT Flagger Training course, sometimes referred to as Basic Maintenance of Traffic (Basic MOT), provides training for personnel who perform flagging operations as part of temporary traffic control and roadway work-zone activities.This course is conducted IN PERSON because participants must complete required hands-on/performance activities. It is not available as a live-online class.<h4>COURSE INFORMATION</h4>Course: FDOT Flagger Training (Basic MOT) Training Provider: Tampa Bay Training — FDOT Approved Provider #213 Course Length: 4 Hours Training Format: In Person, Instructor-Led Written Examination: 9 Questions Performance Requirement: Required Qualification Period: 4 Years Open Enrollment: Individuals and small groups may register directly through Eventbrite.<h4>ABOUT THIS COURSE</h4>FDOT Flagger Training provides instruction for personnel who perform flagging duties within temporary traffic control and roadway work zones.Participants receive instruction in applicable flagging principles, responsibilities, procedures, communication, safety practices, and proper traffic-control techniques.Because flaggers have direct responsibility for communicating with and controlling road users in active work zones, participants must demonstrate both the required knowledge and practical ability to perform applicable flagging procedures.This is an official FDOT Temporary Traffic Control training course delivered by Tampa Bay Training, FDOT Approved Training Provider #213.Successful participants who satisfy applicable attendance, written examination, performance, and FDOT requirements receive an FDOT Flagger qualification valid for 4 years.<h4>IN-PERSON TRAINING</h4>FDOT Flagger Training is conducted in person.Participants must attend the scheduled training location and remain for the entire required instructional period.The in-person format allows participants to receive instructor-led training and complete the applicable performance requirements associated with flagger qualification.Please carefully review the Eventbrite event information for the specific training location, date, start time, parking information, and any location-specific instructions before attending.<h4>ATTENDANCE &amp; COURSE COMPLETION</h4>Full attendance and participation are required.Participants must complete the required 4 hours of instruction and satisfy applicable FDOT course requirements.Registration or attendance alone does not guarantee successful qualification.Tampa Bay Training will not shorten required instructional time, waive required participation, or qualify a participant who has not satisfied applicable requirements.<h4>WRITTEN EXAMINATION &amp; PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENT</h4>Participants must successfully complete the applicable course requirements, including:• 9-question written examination • Required flagger performance componentParticipants must satisfy applicable FDOT requirements for successful completion.Successful participants receive an FDOT Flagger qualification valid for 4 years.<h4>WHO SHOULD ATTEND?</h4>This course is intended for personnel who perform flagging operations or whose job responsibilities require FDOT Flagger qualification.Participants may include personnel working in:• Local government and public works • Transportation and roadway operations • Utilities • Construction and infrastructure • Roadway and right-of-way maintenance • Traffic control and work-zone operations • Contractors working within Florida rights-of-way • Other positions involving temporary traffic control and flagging operationsIf you are unsure whether FDOT Flagger Training is the appropriate qualification for your job responsibilities, contact Tampa Bay Training before registering.<h4>OPEN ENROLLMENT TRAINING</h4>This Eventbrite registration is for a Tampa Bay Training in-person open-enrollment class.Some of our in-person open-enrollment classes are made possible when a Tampa Bay Training client hosting a private class makes additional seats available to outside participants.This allows individuals and organizations with only a few employees to attend an official FDOT Flagger class without having to schedule an entire private class.Training locations vary by event.
