We’re inviting people across Birmingham to share their experiences and ideas about wellbeing in their communities. 
Your voice will help shape a new wellbeing resource based on the Five Ways to Wellbeing.

What helps people in Birmingham feel well?We want to hear directly from the people who know the city best – that’s you.This friendly workshop is a chance to share your experiences, ideas and community knowledge. The insights gathered will help shape a new wellbeing booklet created with Birmingham residents, featuring local stories, services and examples of what helps people feel well in the city.By taking part, you’ll be helping create a resource that reflects the real voices, cultures and communities of Birmingham. What will happen in the workshop?During the session you will:<ul><li>Take part in small group conversations about wellbeing</li></ul><ul><li>Share what helps you feel well in your community</li></ul><ul><li>Explore the Five Ways to Wellbeing together</li></ul><ul><li>Suggest local activities, places or services that support wellbeing</li></ul><ul><li>Help shape a resource that will be used across Birmingham</li></ul>There are no right or wrong answers, we simply want to hear about your experiences and opinions. Who can take part?We welcome residents from across Birmingham and would love to hear from a wide range of voices to reflect the diversity of our city.We particularly encourage participation from:<ul><li>Young adults (16–25)</li></ul><ul><li>Working-age adults</li></ul><ul><li>Older adults (65+)</li></ul><ul><li>People from ethnically diverse communities</li></ul><ul><li>LGBTQ+ communities</li></ul><ul><li>People living in areas with higher deprivation</li></ul><ul><li>People with lived experience of mental health challenges</li></ul><ul><li>Disabled people, neurodivergent people and people with learning disabilities</li></ul><ul><li>Veterans and inclusion health groups</li></ul> Event Details📅 Date: Wednesday 20 May 🕛 Time: 11:00am - 1:00pm 📍 Location: Sense TouchBase Pears ✔ Registration is required to attend ✔ Refreshments will be provided ✔ Reasonable travel expenses can be reimbursed (with receipt)Places are limited, so please register to secure your place.Come along, meet others from across the city, and help ensure Birmingham’s voices shape wellbeing.
