Talking Dirty After Dark is a live storytelling event where people share true stories from their personal experiences to a live audience. The stories are firsthand accounts and completely true, but please be aware that some colorful language may be used. The event takes place at the "Bath House Cultural Center " part of the Stewpot open mic series, welcoming audience members as well as storytellers of all levels. Performers' names are drawn from a stewpot , and each storyteller has 5 minutes to share a story based on the night's theme with no notes allowed during the performance. It's an authentic, unfiltered, and captivating night that promises laughter, tears, and unforgettable connections.

Prompt:

Tell us a five minute story about a time you got lucky. Maybe it was a moment when things could have gone very wrong, but somehow you dodged a bullet literally or figuratively. Maybe you took a chance and won big at a casino, landed a job you didn’t think you’d get, or stumbled into an opportunity that changed your life. Perhaps you were in the right place at the right time for something unexpected. A last minute decision worked out perfectly, you avoided a bad situation without realizing it, or a small coincidence led to something much bigger.

Whether it was a near miss, a surprising win, or a random moment that shifted everything, we want to hear about the time when luck was on your side.
