During Enlightenment-era France, salons were a cultural phenomenon that invited intellectuals & learned folks from all sorts of fields to discus their ideas and expand their mental horizons.
This virtual salon experience is for the 21st century thinker, a space to foster discussions around magic, spirituality, gender, divinity, & witchcraft. Whether you're new to your spiritual journey and craving community, or an established practitioner seeking new magical connections, there is a place waiting for you here. No prior experience or knowledge on any particular topic is necessary to participate & enjoy a full experience. Given the vulnerable nature of what can come up during these circles, there will be no recordings of these meetups, the hope being that this ephemerality gives you permission to share with the comfort that only those present will see & hear you.
Marisol Vibracion is a Black, brown, indigenous, Arab, queer, & trans bruja. Her magical theory & praxis fuse ancient teachings with the postmodern experiences of a nonbinary, genderfluid, trans (wo)man. She hails from a number of spiritual & religious lineages & has been practicing witchcraft & magic for over a decade. These traditions include Roman Catholicism, Buddhism, Lukumi, Espiritismo, & Shaivism. In addition to her experience as a practitioner, she holds a B.A. in Religion & Classical Languages.
