Do I need martial arts experience to participate?

No, this class is for all skill levels. Class is designed for beginners through more seasoned martial artists.

What age range is appropriate for this class?

Our public seminars are recommended for ages 12 and up. Have a younger participant? Contact us to see if class is appropriate for your little one or join one of our Kid's Self-Defense Programs!

Question 3

Do I need to be fit to participate?

Accepted Answer

This class is suitable for all fitness levels. Although class is very safe and controlled, please feel free to participate in physical activities as you feel comfortable. Students are also welcome to watch and learn.

Will there be physical contact?

Accepted Answer

All students will be invited to participate in practicing strikes to pads and bags. Although it enriches the experience, this is not required. Students are also invited to practice technique applications with a partner. You can always bring a friend if you want to work with someone familiar.

Who is the Instructor?

Class is led by Jamie White, 4th Degree Black Belt in Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do. She is a seasoned Self-Defense Instructor with over 30 years of training experience and over 20 years of teaching experience. Jamie prides herself in creating classes that are highly effective and fun!
