Looking to build your riso skills? Have a riso-based project you’ve been wanting to make? Over the course of 5 weeks, Risograph Independent Session Participants will explore the basics of risograph printing with dedicated instruction, collaboration and access to the Risograph Stencil Dupilcator.

Session Duration: 5 Weeks: Saturdays 9am-12pm (May 2nd - June 6th 2026: No class Saturday, May 23rd )

Experience Level:
Beginner–Advanced

What's Incldued:

• (1) Risograph SF5450 EII Stencil Duplicator Machine Access
• (8) Ink Colors: Fluro Pink, Orange, Yellow, Green, Orchid, Blue, Black, Bright Red
• Unlimited Masters/Stencils during duration of session
• Copy paper for test prints
• Shared flat file storage
• Guillotine Paper Cutter, Rotary Paper Cutter, Cutting Mats & Blades
• Instruction & Guidance for producing projects, paper stocks & finishing
• Creative Cohort, with opportunity to collaborate, request feedback and explore new ways of considering your art
• Workspace, Wi-Fi + outlets
• Basic Art Supplies: pens, pencils, markers, crayons, scissors, scrap paper, etc.
• Other equipment available upon request: light table, spiral binder, scanner, folding machine
• Bubbly Water

Particpants to Provide:

• Paper stock for projects (a limited variety of cover & text weight paper will be available for purchase)
• Laptop, tablet, etc. for digital file creation
• Please Note: To maximize your Riso print time, participants are reccomended to use time outside of class for artwork and file creation.

Independent Project Session Tickets are Final Sale and not eligible for refunds:

• Our Workshop Tickets are like concert or event tickets and the session will only occur weekly on Saturdays from May 2nd–June 6th. There will not be class on Saturday, May 23rd. If you are unable to attend one of the 5 weeks we can not guarantee a make-up date. Please notify the instructor to see if there are any available make-up times (subject to space availability and instructor schedule.)

Accessibility Note: Lot’sa is located on a ground floor. There is a single stall bathroom, (not ADA accessible). There is an ADA accessible bathroom at a nearby business if needed.

• Use of appropriately sized HEPA air purifier
• Masks offered at no cost
• Session limited to 4 particpants
• Surfaces sanitized & hand sanitizer available in shop/restroom
