Tyron Asphy works with five instructors to teach karate in Seattle, Washington, twice a week at LANGSTON. Ages 7 to 75.
Tyron Asphy, founder of Japan-American Butokukan Karate Association, has returned to LANGSTON Seattle once more, where he taught community karate classes over 40 years ago. He works with five instructors to offer martial arts classes to students ages 7 to 75.
His commitment to bringing access to discipline, flexibility, and self-defense to the black youth and other residents in the Central District area is invaluable to the overall health and well-being of our community
No experience necessary!
We highly suggest that students come with a refillable water bottle and a snack, rested and well-fed, and bring anything else they need to participate in the class safely.
