Tyron Asphy, founder of Japan-American Butokukan Karate Association, has returned to LANGSTON Seattle once more, where he taught community karate classes over 40 years ago. He works with five instructors to offer martial arts classes to students ages 7 to 75.
His commitment to bringing access to discipline, flexibility, and self-defense to the black youth and other residents in the Central District area is invaluable to the overall health and well-being of our community.
No classes on Wednesday, April 29, or Monday, May 25.
