Crepe Myrtle Trail Ride
Saddle up for the Crepe Myrtle Trail Ride—fun trails, good vibes, and beautiful bay views await!
Join the Crepe Myrtle Trail Ride!
We're back for another year of the most beautiful ride along the western shore of Mobile Bay. Join us on Saturday, April 11th, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at McNally Park as we ride 6 miles north and back again across Brookley Field.
This ride is our annual effort to maintain support for the creation of the Crepe Myrtle Trail as an extension of the Three Mile Creek Greenway Initiative. It is our goal to be a part of the Brookley by the Bay redevelopment plans in advocating for safe & friendly passage via bike and pedestrian access along the Bay.
The ride will depart McNally Park at 8:40, ride along the bay, cross Brookley Field, rest @ Arlington Park. Along the way, people can learn about the park plans, conservation efforts, and community coalitions being created- starting with the Peninsula of Mobile's Crepe Myrtle Trail Fest. Riders will arrive back at McNally Park and straight into the Fest, which will feature music, food & vendors from 10:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
While the ride is open to all, we require individual riders to be over the age of 8. No training wheels are permitted. Per Alabama law, all riders are required to wear helmets.
In the case of rain, we will hold the ride on the following Saturday, April 18th.
