In honor of Poetry Month, we welcome Christine Potter for two mini workshops! The best poetry surprises us, but we get so hung up trying to make things perfect that we get in our own way. How do you write a poem that nobody else could have written except for you? The answer is in your memories, your own truth. This workshop will look at the specific image and show you how to get it onto the page. We’ll write together. There may even be crayons involved. Bring an open mind and let’s make it new! Bring a notebook and pen OR a laptop. $10, no advance registration. If you would like to request a fee waiver, just mention it when you come. No one will be turned away.
