May Saturday Beginners Tournament

Come join us for a fun and friendly beginner chess tournament!

This is a USCF rated chess tournament open to all students (K-12) in San Antonio and nearby areas. We will play on Saturday following USCF rules at 10 a.m. until finish (usually around 2p.m.)

Complete Chess is introducing more students to the United States Chess Federation (USCF) to receive their National Ranking

By signing up for this Tournament we will be vouching for your USCF ID, Which you will be receiving before the tournament begins

LIMIT 40 PEOPLE FOR THIS EVENT.

Schedule:

• Round 1: 10 AM
• Round 2: 11 AM
• Round 3: 12 PM
• Round 4: 1PM

Time controls:
• All Rounds G/30d;5 (thirty minutes per player)

Pricing:

Early Registration: $30 (week in advance)

Standard Registration: $40

In-person Registration: $50

Additional Info: Free for Pawn, Knight, and King members. Online registration closes at 8pm the night before. In-person registration may require a first round bye.

SECTIONS MIGHT BE COMBINED IF LOW ENTRY

• 1st-3rd grade U400
• 1st-5th grade U600
• 1st-8th grade U800
• 1st-12th grade Open

Trophies for the top 3 in each section

**All refunds will be charged a $7.00 processing and transaction fee.
