Wild Palette Explorers - A Bilingual Spanish Art and Nature Camp
Imagine your child coming home with paint on their hands, a new song in Spanish, and a story about the dragonfly they sketched in the garden
Wild Palette Explorers is a bilingual summer camp for children ages 4.5 to 9 where art, nature, and Spanish come alive together — with no screens, no worksheets, and no pressure. Held at The Dahlia School’s Mission Bay campus, it’s designed for children who love to make things and are ready to spend the summer actually doing it.
Campers create original work inspired by the natural world — watercolor, clay, found materials, and their own ideas. Spanish runs through the whole day through songs, games, stories, and real conversation, so the language absorbs naturally. Mixed-age groups mean younger children have models to look up to, and older children get to be those models.
Two sessions, two distinct curriculums, and campers may enroll for an entire session or on a weekly basis:
Session 1 — June 10 to July 3
Session 2 — July 8 to July 31
Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM–3:00 PM
Fridays: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Extended care available to 5:30 PM both days. Daily snacks provided; campers bring their own lunch.
No prior Spanish needed. No art experience required. Just a curious child and a summer with room to grow.
