ROOTED: Gentle Yoga & Somatic Integration for the Spring Equinox
Experience how gentle yoga, breath, and somatic energy work can restore calm and build real resilience.
ROOTED: Gentle Yoga & Somatic Integration
A Sunday Morning Spring Equinox Experience with Ashton & Rachel McKenzie
Studio Be Napa | Sunday at 9:00 AM
Resilience isn’t built by pushing harder. It’s built by learning how to come back to center.
After a full week, and for many, a full weekend of Spring Equinox events, this Sunday morning session offers a slower, intentional space to ground, regulate, and reconnect with your body. (To see other events being hosted this weekend @ Studio Be Napa visit us at: https://www.studiobenapa.com/events).
We’ll begin with gentle yoga led by Ashton, guiding you through slow, supportive movement and steady breath to release tension, restore mobility, and help the nervous system settle.
As the body softens and awareness deepens, Rachel will follow with somatic energy work and nervous system support, helping the system integrate the movement and create a deeper sense of internal stability.
Together, the experience supports:
• A calmer, more regulated nervous system
• Increased body awareness and breath capacity
• The release of unconscious bracing and tension
• A grounded, steady start to the day
No prior yoga or energy work experience is required. This session is open to anyone curious about the intersection of movement, breath, and energy work.
Perfect for those attending the full Spring Equinox weekend at Studio Be, and equally supportive as a stand-alone drop-in session for anyone wanting a slower, grounded start to their Sunday.
Move. Breathe. Settle in at Studio Be Napa. Wellness that Works. Empowerment that lasts.
Meet Your Practitioners
Ashton is a Napa-based yoga instructor known for guiding thoughtful, accessible classes that prioritize nervous system awareness, intelligent movement, and sustainable strength. Her teaching style focuses on slow, intentional sequencing and breath-led movement that helps the body release accumulated tension while restoring stability and ease. Ashton creates spaces where students can reconnect with their bodies, move with greater awareness, and build resilience through consistent practice.
Rachel McKenzie is co-owner of Studio Be Napa and a somatic energetics practitioner specializing in nervous system regulation, spinal entrainment, and embodied resilience. Her work blends breath, somatic awareness, and subtle energy practices to support the body’s natural ability to reorganize and restore balance. Rachel’s approach is grounded, curious, and approachable, creating experiences that are both deeply restorative and rooted in self empowerment.
Together, Ashton and Rachel create an experience that bridges movement, breath, and somatic energy work, offering a supportive environment where the body can soften, regulate, and integrate.
