Portlaoise Rotary Gala Concert
An opportunity to enjoy a broad range of local talent through a mixture of Irish dancing, choral, traditional, classical and band music.
This event showcases a wonderful array of local talent. Starting with the pounding rythms of the Lynam School Irish dancers, the amazing Ukrainian MALVA choir who perform in traditional dress; the Laois School of Music Orchestra; award winning Laois Comhaltas Ceoltoirí, and ending with the Portarlington Concert Band featuring brass, woodwind percussion and keyboards in a mixture of classical, pop, rock and big band tunes to make an impressive end to a great evening of music.
PLEASE NOTE: CHILDREN UNDER 12 GO FREE. Please ask for free ticket at the door.
This is a charity event supporting: Laois Domestic Abuse, Stradbally Lourdes Fund and Portlaoise Rotary. Income from online ticket sales will be divided equally between all three organisations.
