Is this safe?

Yes. Bee Leaf USA is diligent in its requeening process to ensure docile honeybee genetics. Safety is a top priority. You will be given a beekeeping veil/hat and gloves for protection during the tour.

Question 2

Will I get stung?

Accepted Answer

Highly unlikely. Honeybees are not aggressive unless provoked. With proper protective gear and guidance, guests are able to observe safely.

Question 3

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Closed toed shoes are required. Feel free to wear long pants and long sleeves for extra protection (This is based on your comfort level).

Question 4

Do I get free honey?

Accepted Answer

While honey is not included with the tour, participants receive a discount in Harvest Market on honey products.
