Reduce Your Family's Stress: 4-Week Group Coaching Program for Working Parents Who Feel Stressed and Overwhelmed

Working parents often feel stretched thin between their work responsibilities and family life.

Many parents feel overwhelmed by the daily pressures of:

* work responsibilities - after work to do: emails, phone calls, projects
* busy schedules - competing calendars and clock - always feeling rushed
* coordinating child care - drop offs and pick ups
* caring for their family - fixing dinner, bath time, bedtime, mornings
* managing household tasks - laundry, house chores, paying bills
* helping children with homework and coordinating after-school activities
* parenting challenges - temper tantrums, discipline which means to teach
* having more quality time with their family, not just more time at home

Overtime these stressors can cause exhaustion and frustration.

Many parents are stressed: 48% of them say they feel overwhelmed by stress most days, according to 2023 data reported by the U.S. Surgeon General.

Sometimes, working parents take their family stress to work. The opposite can happen, too: working parents can take their work stress home.

This four-session online group coaching workshop has been designed specifically for working parents.

This workshop goes beyond traditional stress management - breathing exercises, taking a walk, practicing mindfulness - all important means of coping with stress.

In this workshop parents will be encouraged to find a better way to manage their everyday stressors, not just manage their stress.

This will be a dedicated time for parents to find ways to have a better work-life balance.

What's happening now

You know that moment when you lose your patience with your loved one and snap -- and immediately regret it? When your child's face falls or your partner goes quiet, and you think,

“I hate that I yelled again.”

"I didn't mean to say it like that."

“I’m becoming the parent I swore I wouldn’t be.”

Or that moment when you're at work and can't stop worrying about your parenting challenges or the house chores and laundry that you need to do? You can't focus on your work. You blame yourself for not being able to do it all.

Your breaking points

These moments don't mean that you're failing. These are your “breaking points.” These moments are your body’s way of saying:

“Enough. Something deeper needs your attention. It’s time to do things differently.”

Stress isn’t the enemy – it’s communication.

Why now?

Busy working parents are sometimes so exhausted and overwhelmed that they easily lose their patience with their loved ones and aren't able to enjoy their family time. You may also find yourself worrying about your child and your family responsibilities while you are at work. You may feel guilty. You may want things to get better sooner rather later. You don't want to wait any longer for things to get better.

4-Session Online Group Coaching Workshop

We will focus on:

  • Why working parents feel so overwhelmed: Identify why you are stressed
  • Start the process of creating a plan to manage your stressors differently
  • Start using the plan, then ask "Are there hurdles?" "What will help?"

Specifics

This workshop offers a roadmap. It includes:

Four weekly 60-minute sessions

Supportive group of other working parents

Encouragement and guidance along the way

The registration fee is $100 for four weeks of coaching sessions.

Each session will conveniently meet on Zoom. These sessions will be live, not pre-recorded. You can be anonymous. You can have the video off.

She has spent nearly 30 years guiding and encouraging busy parents. She’s worked with hundreds of parents over the years, offering support that’s practical, encouraging, and never judgmental.
