In honor of WLRH 89.3 - Huntsville Public Radio's Spring Fund Drive, and as a "thank you" to our dedicated listeners and supporters, we're happy to introduce our first-ever "Fund Drive Field Trip." In partnership with our friends at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, WLRH invites you to join us for an out-of-this-world evening at Cocktails and Cosmos on Friday, March 27th.Enjoy a special WLRH-themed cocktail, mix and mingle with your favorite WLRH personalities, and swing by the WLRH table in the Planetarium lobby for fun and giveaways.At 7 p.m., take a seat in the Planetarium and enjoy the U.S. Space and Rocket Center's presentation, Genuis-ify... What do the Schwarzschild Metric, Roche Limit, and Hawking Radiation all have in common? They're technical and tricky words in astrophysics that make you sound like a genius when you use them! Join us as we talk through some complex terminology used in astronomy.
