ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

Keith Pray: a versatile saxophonist and organist, who explores the boundaries of mainstream jazz, the blues, avant-garde and gritty funk as a performer, bandleader, composer and educator. Keith has traveled from the west coast to Europe making music of many styles with countless gifted musicians. Keith has released 12 albums under his name, most recently "Unseen Sight" on his label PrayNation Records.

Keith is an in demand jazz educator, having conducted many all-counties, masterclasses, clinics, co-founding All Ears Jazz, which develops jazz education workshops. Keith also holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) from the European Graduate School in Expressive Arts: Therapy, Conflict Transformation and Education.

Enrique Haneine: born in Mexico City, Enrique Haneine holds four degrees, including his Masters in Jazz Piano Performance from The Boston Conservatory and Berklee College of Music, and is known for his versatile performance and leadership roles in both the Mexican pop scene and the New York jazz world. From his past roles as music director, pianist and arranger for Ricky Martin, Vina del Mar music festival, and for numerous Mexican television productions (such as the Eres Awards) Haneine's reputation as a brilliant artist and talented arranger are well deserved. Today his repertoire has evolved and matured into the realm of free, standard and Latin jazz.

After moving to Boston in 1996 Haneine began intensive private studies with numerous outstanding musicians, influencing his unique personal style, which blends innovative technique with uninhibited, yet intelligent improvisation. With his definitive move to New York City in 2000, Enrique has grown as both a soloist, band leader, and member of numerous trios/quartets, playing in venues such as The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (DC), Jazz at Lincoln Center (NYC), Birdland (NYC), and more. Haneine can be found playing at jazz festivals around the US and Internationally, as well as giving private lessons and master classes.
