Reset Saturday
The theme for the second annual Reset Saturday is “How are the Children? Perinatal Health, Birth Equity, and Community Solutions.”
Motherhood is a beautiful experience, but it takes a village to raise a child. That’s why Rafiki Coalition is bringing you the second annual Reset Saturday!
This year’s theme is “How are the Children? Perinatal Health, Birth Equity, and Community Solutions.” The focus is on supporting mothers who are pregnant or have children up to three years old and also uplifting the community that supports these mothers to ensure their children’s wellbeing. If the community is strong, the children will be too.
This event will feature a panel discussion designed to give mothers the knowledge necessary to have a positive birthing experience before, during, and shortly after their child is born.
This event also features:
- An activation with The Hoopbus
- Kuumba Zone for children
- Catered lunch
- A photo booth
- And more!
Share this with a new or expecting mother. We’re here to help you on this parenting journey!
Gift cards will be given to the first fifty perinatal moms in attendance.
Note: Perinatal typically refers to the time period starting from the 20th week of pregnancy and ending 1 to 4 weeks after birth. However, when we use perinatal, we are expanding the timeframe to be from pregnancy to 3 years after birth.
