CCA 2026: Crisis Care and Land Rematriation
Conversations exploring how Indigenous leadership, law, and youth visions can protect community health, restore land, and strengthen care.
Human Impacts Institute, in partnership with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in New York, invites you to an evening centering Indigenous leadership, knowledge, and global dialogue. This special gathering will bring together Indigenous advocates, youth leaders, and policy experts to explore how communities are protecting health, land, and cultural resilience in times of crisis.
Through a fireside chat and panel discussion, speakers from across the globe will share perspectives on Indigenous rights, land rematriation, and community care, from Taiwan to the Americas and beyond. The program will highlight the vital role Indigenous leadership plays in shaping solutions to climate change, biodiversity loss, and environmental health challenges, while uplifting the voices of emerging youth leaders driving this work forward.
The evening will conclude with a networking reception, offering space for continued conversation and connection among community members, advocates, and partners working toward more just and resilient futures.
