Celebrate moms with Wild Care at a special Mother’s Day Weekend tea party at the Crosby Mansion in Brewster on Saturday, May 9th from 4pm until 6pm. Enjoy high tea service featuring tea from Cape & Islands Tea, and delicious jams and honey from Lighthouse Keeper’s Pantry, with vegan finger foods and sweets from Herbivore Patisserie.
Wild Care’s Executive Director Stephanie Ellis will talk about spring wildlife moms and the Chimney Swifts that call the mansion home during the spring and summer months Take a tour of this stunning Colonial Revival mansion, wear your best tea party hat and you could win a meet and greet with our dapper turtle Ambassador, Garv! Music at this special event will be performed by Harpist Thom Dutton.
This Mother’s Day celebration is a fundraiser for Wild Care, and will help with the care of orphaned baby animals during the busy spring and summer baby season. While we celebrate mothers – human and wild, everyone is welcome to join us for this heartwarming afternoon in support of wildlife.
Tickets only available in advance. Space is limited to 60 participants.
Proceeds from this special tea party will provide critical funding for medical supplies, food, shelter, and operating expenses during our busy baby season. The cost for each ticket is $85.00. A portion of ticket price is a tax deductible donation to Wild Care. Tickets include wildlife talk, docent-led historic mansion tour, tea, and small plates of vegan sandwiches, savories, sweets, tea party hat contest entry, and a party favor bag.
