Sacred Creation: Let Justice Flow Down Like Water
Dive into a powerful gathering where faith meets action and we work together to bring justice like a flowing river.
Rev. Dr. Heber Brown III of Baltimore MD highlights clean water as a vital foundational element for health equity, food sovereignty, and environmental justice. As the founder of the Black Church Food Security Network, he connects access to clean, safe water directly to the ability of communities to thrive and grow their own food calling it a "true currency" of life. For more than twenty years, he has served as a catalyst for both personal transformation and wider social change, inspiring individuals and communities to work toward a more equitable and just society.
This lecture examining the intersection of environmental justice and clean water with health equity and food sovereignty will be held as a part of Lancaster Water Week. Bright Side is proud to participate in its 5th year as a host site for Lancaster Water Week events.
