What is a mossarium?

Similar to a terrarium, mossariums exclusively feature live mosses. They can survive open air, or completely enclosed. Create your own, and enjoy the tranquility of nature at your desk, kitchen, or bedroom ANY time.

Do I need prior experience to join this workshop?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! This workshop is beginner-friendly. Our houseplant expert will guide you through creating your kokedama and teach you everything you need to know to care for it, including watering, lighting, and long-term health.

Question 3

What does my ticket include?

Accepted Answer

Your $65 ticket covers: your choice of a high-quality plant, all materials needed to create your kokedama, a clay dish for displaying your creation, a detailed workbook to take home.

Do I need to bring anything?

Accepted Answer

Just yourself, a willingness to learn, and some creative energy! Everything you need will be provided, and the mess is usually kept to a minimum!

Can I buy additional plants at the event?

Accepted Answer

Limited plants will be provided for just the kokedama workshop. If you'd like to upgrade from a standard plant to a premium hoya from UncommonPlantGuy's personal collection, you can add that to your ticket purchase at check out!

How long is the event? What time should I get there?

Accepted Answer

The workshop is about one and a half to two hours long. We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes early to check-in, grab your first round of drinks or some food, and get settled in! You're welcome to stay in the public bar after the workshop to continue enjoying their food and beverage options!
