Culinary Connections in Agriculture
Educators and join us for our very first culinary teacher's workshop! We will make farm-to-table connections to bring back to the classroom.
Culinary Connections in Agriculture
Join us for a hands-on professional development experience designed specifically for culinary educators and food service staff. The Culinary Connections workshop explores how agriculture and culinary education intersect, giving teachers a deeper understanding of how our food goes from pasture to plate.
Participants will hear from agricultural industry experts, learn about cattle nutrition and beef production, and watch a live culinary demonstration as a chef prepares a 5-course meal while discussing how agricultural products can be incorporated into culinary classrooms.
Teachers will leave with new knowledge, classroom-ready resources, and connections to the agriculture industry that will help students better understand where their food comes from.
Purchase Orders can be made out to "AZ Foundation for Ag Literacy" or "AFAL". The address is- PO Box 61682, Phoenix, AZ 85082. Email PO to cwoolsey@arizona.edu. If paying by PO, you may go ahead and continue with your registration and select the “Pay by Invoice or Check” option at checkout. There is no need to wait for the PO to be processed before registering.
Call (602) 827-2105 or email cwoolsey@arizona with any questions!
