Join Finland Center Foundation for a Walking Tour in Brooklyn on Sunday March 15th!

Explore the history of the Finnish enclave that thrived around Sunset Park in the early to mid 20th century. After meeting in the park itself, we’ll walk surrounding streets and visit historic buildings as we delve into the surprising history of how this community of immigrants established the first ever self-managed worker housing cooperative in the United States. This free tour will be led by FCF Board Member Oscar Eilitta Psychas in his capacity as Urban Park Ranger with the NYC Parks Department.
