Meet your Instructors
Cate Hale
Cate Hale is a classicaly trainned writer, actress, and comedian. She has been performing since 2022 and has sold out some of Chicago’s most iconic venues with her standup and sketch shows.

Jordan Lewandowski
Jordan, founder of The Spot:Lex, has been perfoming and producing shows around the world since 2012 and has worked with comedians like Ron Funches and Seth Green. He currently leads the weely improv jam at The Spot: Lex (Mondays) and has been dircting, teaching and coaching for over a decade.

Over this course you'll explore the fundamentals of improvisational comedy including:

• Thinking quickly and trusting your instincts
• Scene building and storytelling
• Listening and reacting in the moment
• Stage presence and confidence
• Classic improv games and exercises
