Life in Color: THE COOKOUT is a celebration of style, culture, and the joy of coming together. It’s inspired by the traditions that raised us: backyard barbecues, family reunions, block parties, and the effortless way our community turns every moment into a celebration. This production is a reminder that the moments we grew up with aren’t just memories, they’re our culture.

Created by Chasity Aniece, the Life in Color series is an annual fashion exhibition celebrating Black excellence through art, design, fashion, and music. While the series began as a Black History Month showcase, THE COOKOUT reminds us that our creativity, influence, and traditions live far beyond February.
