Sunday Tour: Hidden Creatures

The Chazen Museum of Art works to collect, preserve, interpret, and exhibit works of art and present related educational programs in support of the teaching, research, and public service mission of theUniversity of Wisconsin–Madison.We do this because the visual arts enrich individual human experience and because knowledge of art is essential to understanding diverse cultures, past and present.

Can you spot the hidden creatures? Join us at the Chazen for a tour exploring animals that appear through texture, shape, and color.

Can you spot the hidden creatures? Join us at the Chazen for a tour exploring the unexpected textures, shapes, colors, and techniques artists use to capture the essence of an animal, beyond literal representation. Tours last up to 60 minutes and invite conversation, curiosity, and close looking as we discover unconventional ways artists bring animals to life. RSVPs are encouraged but not required. Walk-ins will be welcome as capacity allows.
