The Chazen Museum of Art works to collect, preserve, interpret, and exhibit works of art and present related educational programs in support of the teaching, research, and public service mission of theUniversity of Wisconsin–Madison.We do this because the visual arts enrich individual human experience and because knowledge of art is essential to understanding diverse cultures, past and present.

Meet us at the Chazen for a guided tour exploring how fashion in art reveals identity, culture, and story. We’ll look closely at how artists use clothing to communicate meaning and shape the narratives in their work. Tours last up to 60 minutes and invite conversation, curiosity, and close looking as you discover how clothing speaks across works in the collection. RSVPs are encouraged but not required. Walk-ins will be welcome as capacity allows.
