Jazz Brunch returns to The War Memorial as a beloved seasonal tradition, welcoming acclaimed clarinetist Dave Bennett for one vibrant morning where live jazz is paired with exceptional food and drink. As part of The War Memorial’s America 250 programming, this special performance celebrates the rich traditions of American jazz and swing.

Joining Bennett are pianist Mark Braun and drummer Pete Siers, the duo known as Flea Circus, for a spirited performance of classic boogie, blues, and jazz inspired by the sounds of the 1930s and ’40s. Together, the trio brings an uplifting mix of old-time melodies, classic swing, and energetic rhythms, setting the tone for a relaxed and social gathering in the lakefront ballroom.

Guests enjoy brunch before settling in for a midday concert overlooking Lake St. Clair.

With thoughtfully prepared cuisine, flowing Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s, and music that carries the morning, Jazz Brunch offers an effortless way to gather, linger, and enjoy live jazz in a setting designed to be savored.
