Mālama Pono Kohala 2026 Spring Tea
Join us for a chill afternoon of good vibes, tasty sips, and community spirit at this year’s spring tea!
Join us for the inaugural Mālama Pono Kohala Spring Tea, a community gathering rooted in connection, reflection, and collective care.
This new spring gathering complements Mālama Pono Kohala’s annual Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) signature event each October, creating space throughout the year for survivors and our community to come together to support healing, strengthen relationships, and uplift the importance of safe and healthy relationships in North Hawaiʻi.
Through tea, music, storytelling, cultural practice, and shared conversation, the Spring Tea offers a welcoming space where survivors, community members, and allies can connect and reflect together.
The afternoon will include:
- Pi Kai cleansing ceremony
- Elegant tea service
- Live music
- Tea bundle station & lei-making
- Community reflection activities
- Survivor and community storytelling
- Giveaways from local businesses and community partners
Guests will also receive a special novelty gift created exclusively for the Spring Tea, designed to be unique each year as the gathering continues to grow.
The Spring Tea supports Mālama Pono Kohala’s mission to prevent and eliminate intimate partner violence and to build a community where safe, healthy relationships are the foundation of a thriving Kohala.
We hope you will join us for this meaningful afternoon of connection, reflection, and community care.
