Who presents at these workshops?

A divorce attorney (lawyer), a financial professional (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®) and a mental health professional (therapist) present at workshops.  Some workshops may include additional  experts (mortgage, insurance, divorce coach, etc).

I'm thinking about getting divorced.  Is this workshop for me?

Yes, there are a number of steps a person can take when considering divorce which you can learn in these workshops.

Can I get legal advice on my divorce her?

Accepted Answer

Every divorce is unique.  Workshops provide general information that can be applied to individual circumstance, and provide the opportunity to speak with experienced divorce professionals.

Question 4

My sister is getting divorced.  Could I learn something to help her here?

Accepted Answer

By all means! Divorce is complex; the more people understand about it the easier it is to help people through it.

Can I share this with a friend who doesn't live in the area?

Accepted Answer

By all means, yes!  Second Saturday workshops are national and open to all.  For those not finding workshops near their location, any location can be used as a starting place to learn about divorce, and start connecting to needed professionals.
