Crochet Multi Floral Lei - Mapunapuna

Learn to make this classic style of multi-yarn and rattail crocheted lei. Perfect for beginner crocheters!

*Students must be experienced & comfortable with making the Chain Stitch (CH) , Single Crochet (SC) and Slip Stitch (SL ST). Stitches will not be taught in class, but simply reviewed as reminder.

Join our wonderful instructors & learn how to crochet this classic rattail & specialty eyelash/Ka Lina yarn lei. This is the perfect lei for beginner crocheters & crocheters who have not yet tried making a crocheted lei. Students must bring their own H-8 (5mm), I-9 (5.5mm) or J-10 (6.0mm) hook. Materials include:

• Copy of pattern
• Grosgrain ribbon, enough to make one lei
• Dark green 2mm rattail, enough to make one lei
• Dark Pink 1mm rattail, enough to make one lei
• 1 ball Nani eyelash yarn
• 1 ball Kui eyelash yarn
• 1 ball choice of color Ka Lina yarn

We may not complete lei in class, but you will learn enough of the pattern to be able to complete & nicely finish your lei on your own at home. Best for ages 13 and up with Experienced Beginner background.

Students must bring their own H-8 (5mm), I-9 (5.5mm) or J-10 (6.0mm) hook. Crochet hooks available for purchase in store before class.
