Will there be parking?

The Rainier Beach Community Center has a parking lot with entrances along Rainier Ave S. However, parking may be limited. We advise those driving to take notice of off-street parking and signs. There are accessible parking spots at the Community Center, as well.

What is the cost to attend?

This event, like in the past, is free for anyone to attend. You may come in and out. We just ask people to reserve free tickets to help us keep count for reporting. This kind of information is useful to sponsors. You do not have to show your registration at the event.

When and where is the event?

This year the Annual Juneteenth Celebration is during the evening, from 5 pm - 8 pm on Thursday, June 18, 2026. The event takes place in the outdoor plaza of the Rainier Beach Community Center (8825 S. Rainier Ave).

At this time, we are not accepting additional vendors.

Are there bathrooms?

The inside of the Community Center has bathrooms, including accessible bathrooms. Please be mindful that there are programs and Community Center members also using the facilities.

Who/what is Atlantic Street Center?

Accepted Answer

Nice to meet you! Atlantic Street Center (ASC) is a local nonprofit that has been supporting children, youth, and families since 1910. We do this through four main components: mental health services, early learning, youth/family development, and gender-based violence support.
