Event details
Pentagram is a multi-disciplinary, independently owned design studio whose works encompass many aspects of design, from identity and strategic positioning to products and packaging. Founded in London in 1972 by architect Theo Crosby, industrial designer Kenneth Grange, and graphic designers Alan Fletcher, Colin Forbes, and Mervyn Kurlansky, the firm is currently led by 24 partners, with offices in New York, London, Berlin, and Austin, Texas. Its unique structure, where partners both lead the work and serve as primary contact for each client, reflects the studio’s belief that great design happens with “passion, intelligence and… personal commitment,” in their own words. With a longstanding relationship, Pentagram’s design can be seen throughout the League’s visual identity, including its logo and the graphics for its annual Beaux Arts Ball.
