Do I need to already be a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) to attend?

Yes. Scrum Alliance requires participants to hold an active CSPO® certification and have at least one year of experience working as a Product Owner before attending an ACSPO course.

How is this different from the CSPO course?

CSPO focuses on Scrum fundamentals. ACSPO builds advanced product ownership skills such as strategy, customer insight, outcome-focused roadmaps, stakeholder influence, and sophisticated backlog management.

What certification will I receive?

After full participation, you’ll receive the Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner® (ACSPO®) certification from Scrum Alliance. There is no exam.

Is the workshop lecture-based?

No. This is a highly interactive workshop with exercises, discussions, and collaboration designed to help you apply advanced Product Owner practices immediately.

Do I have to attend the entire workshop?

Yes. Full attendance is required by Scrum Alliance in order to receive the ACSPO certification.

Will I earn PDUs or SEUs?

Accepted Answer

Participants typically earn 14 SEUs from Scrum Alliance and may claim 14 PDUs toward certifications from Project Management Institute.
