Jon Gazi is a prominent singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, known for pioneering a unique musical style he calls "Rockalypso"-a fusion of Caribbean calypso and rock.Musical Career<ul><li>Solo Work: As a solo artist, he is a 7-time winner of "Best Singer/Entertainer" in the Virgin Islands. His popular singles include:</li><li>"STATIA" (released February 2025)</li><li>"Irmaria" (2018)</li><li>"On Deh Road" (2019)</li><li>"Leh We Lime" (2019)</li><li>Mad Caddies: Since 2007, Gazi has served as the full-time bassist for the legendary California-based ska-punk band Mad Caddies.</li><li>Performance Style: He is known for high-energy, "never off tour" performances at major Caribbean events like Carnival and Foxy's Old Year's Night in the BVI, as well as international tours across Europe, Japan, and the USA.</li></ul>
