Michael’s latest work explores a specific five-mile stretch of Las Vegas, capturing a unique type of melancholy he describes as almost iridescent. Michael creates with patience and precision, using large-format view cameras to uncover a profound connection between the environment and the people who inhabit it. These hand-wrought, split-toned prints are nothing short of mesmerizing, rendered with an otherworldly resolution that compels the viewer to actually "enter" the photograph.
