Adult Mental Health First Aid Training for Mental Health Awareness Month
Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.
MHFA gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to appropriate care. There will be a short amount of pre-work to be completed prior to attending. You will receive information on how to access training & pre-training work closer to time. You must attend all day in order to receive certificate. Lunch will be provided by Mercy Health Lourdes. Please contact Cynthia Turner (cturner@4rbh.org) or Brooke Lodge (clodge@4rbh.org) with any questions!
