Cole Harbour Minor Hockey Appreciation Night featuring Jason Price
Cole Harbour Minor Hockey Appreciation Night Featuring Jason Price - A night to come together as a hockey community.
Cole Harbour Hockey Community Night – March 21
Hockey has always been more than just a game in Cole Harbour.
It’s a community. A family. A group of people who show up for one another when it matters the most — in the stands, in the dressing room, and in life.
Over the past couple of seasons, our Cole Harbour hockey family has faced some incredibly difficult losses. During this time we have lost several important members of our community: Wallace Deveaux, Dwight “Dewey” Patterson, the tragic loss of #6 Nolan Lillington, and recently Tony Mitchell, a proud hockey dad of three and a supporter of countless young players in our rink.
Each of these individuals, along with many others who came before them, helped shape the spirit of hockey in Cole Harbour. Their presence in our rink, in our stands, and in our community is deeply missed.
When a hockey community experiences loss, the one thing that always helps is coming together.
To support that spirit of community and healing, The Joe LaMontagne Tournament will be hosting a 19+ Cole Harbour Hockey Community Night on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
This evening is meant to be a chance for our hockey family to gather, reconnect, share stories, remember the people who helped build our community, and spend time together the way hockey families always do.
There will be good music, good company, and plenty of hockey stories shared among teammates, parents, coaches, officials, volunteers, and friends who have all been part of the Cole Harbour hockey journey.
Admission to the event will be free, but capacity is limited to 350 people.
Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so anyone interested in attending is encouraged to secure their spot early.
At the door, there will be donation jugs, and all funds raised through voluntary donations and bar sales will go directly toward supporting members of our local hockey community.
Because that’s what hockey families do — we look after our own.
This event is an opportunity for our community to come together, honour those we’ve lost, and continue building the strong hockey culture that has always defined Cole Harbour.
We hope you’ll join us on Saturday, March 21st at The Joe.
Let’s come together as a hockey family. 🏒
